About Dr. Ceranoglu

Dr. Atilla Ceranoglu (Jay-RUN-o-lou) is a board certified child and adolescent psychiatrist at Massachusetts General Hospital and Shriners Hospital for Children. He also is on faculty at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Ceranoglu specializes in psychiatric care of children and adolescents with developmental disorders and provides care for severely injured children.  His clinical interest on mood and anxiety disorders in child victims of major trauma led to collaboration with a very caring and innovative group of clinicians at Shriners Hospital for Children in Boston, where he serves as Director of Psychiatric Services.

  Dr. Ceranoglu also focuses on clinical effects of video games on youth and how media can help inform public. He is a member of the Media Committee at the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and serves on Massachusetts Council on Gaming and Health Advisory Board and is sought by various media outlets for his expertise.
